11 Projects Selected in the TICAL 2024 Poster Call

The TICAL 2024 poster call successfully closed on November 22, with notable participation from researchers and students. Its goal was to promote the visibility of innovative, high-impact projects in key areas, such as digital health, sustainability, and technology, while highlighting the contributions of the academic and scientific community in the region.

During the coffee breaks at the TICAL 2024 conference, which will take place from December 3-5 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the authors of the selected posters will have the chance to share their work and experiences with attendees. Additionally, the three-day event will feature the posters, offering continuous exposure for their valuable initiatives and research.

This space for visibility and collaboration offers a key opportunity to continue driving innovation, knowledge, and exchange among researchers and the academic community in Latin America and the Caribbean.

In line with the objectives of the EU-LAC Digital Alliance and the the BELLA II project led by RedCLARA, TICAL provides a forum for strategic dialogue and exchange of experiences among the NRENs members of RedCLARA on strengthening regional science, technology, and innovation; promotes the identification of common challenges and opportunities of digital transformation for the economic and social development of Latin America and the Caribbean, and seeks to identify the cornerstones for building a common development agenda based on digital.
