The most significant annual event for advancing science, technology, and innovation in Latin America and the Caribbean, "TICAL 2024: Connecting Knowledge, AI, and Data for Academic and Social Transformation," invites researchers, academics, and professionals to submit their posters for the conference, which will take place from December 3 to 5 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

This call aims to showcase innovative work and significant advancements in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) that positively impact the academic and scientific sectors in the region.

Applicants must submit a proposal that includes a summary of up to 250 words, the title of the work, the list of authors, and their respective institutions. The summary should concisely describe the scientific problem addressed, the proposed solution, and, if possible, the results achieved. Submissions must be in Spanish or Portuguese. Present posters in a vertical format, measuring 85 cm x 200 cm, and consider printing them as roller banners if desired. Authors must also submit a PDF version for publication on the official TICAL 2024 website.

We will accept proposals from November 11 to 22 and send acceptance notifications by November 27. You must submit the final PDF file by November 29, 2024.

The official TICAL 2024 website (tical2024.redclara.net) will publish and display the accepted posters throughout the event. The selected authors must attend the first-day poster session and interact with conference attendees during breaks.
