Early Bird Registration for TICAL 2024: You can now register for the research and education networks' flagship conference!

From 8 August to 30 October, you have a limited time to take advantage of   special rates for the TICAL2024 Conference. The event is scheduled from 3-5 December at the Barra Windsor Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

During the early bird registration period, the fee will be USD 100, representing a discount of more than a 30% from the original registration fee of USD 150. The full price will be valid from 30 October until the start of the conference.

To register and ensure your participation in the annual meeting of the Latin American and Caribbean Advanced Research and Education Networks (NREN), TICAL2024, go to https://bit.ly/4dSXBAL and fill in the registration form, and make the associated payment according to your participation category. TICAL is organized by RedCLARA with the support of the Brazilian National Research and Education Network (RNIE), RNP, and the BELLA II Project.

In its 13th edition, the conference will facilitate strategic discussion and exchange around seven thematic axes: e-science, sustainability, e-health, security, infrastructure, services, and culture. International panelists and experts will participate in this event. Furthermore, it will facilitate the identification of common challenges and opportunities presented by digital transformation for the economic and social development. It will also seek to determine the essential elements for building a unified digital- based development agenda.

In line with the objectives of the EU-LAC Digital Alliance and the the BELLA II project led by RedCLARA, TICAL provides a forum for strategic dialogue and exchange of experiences among the NRENs members of RedCLARA on strengthening regional science, technology, and innovation; promotes the identification of common challenges and opportunities of digital transformation for the economic and social development of Latin America and the Caribbean, and seeks to identify the cornerstones for building a common development agenda based on digital.
