Fernando Aranda is a Computer Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the ICT field and significant certifications in cybersecurity. He currently serves as the Coordinator of the CSIRT CUDI (Mexican National Research and Education Network), where he has been collaborating for over 23 years. He is a member of several national and international organizations, including the Internet Society Chapter Mexico (ISOC-MX), OWAS Chapter Mexico City, Academy Security SIG First, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), eduLACSeg (Regional Cybersecurity Group of LAC's NRENs); in addition to being the Coordinator of the Annual Cybersecurity Training Sessions at CUDI.
Over the last 18 years, he has focused his work on information security and has collaborated with various private and public sector companies and organizations in Mexico.
He has participated as a speaker at various national and international forums, including TICAL in its different editions, FIRST Virtual Symposium Latin America and Caribbean, LACNIC Meetings, SIGESTIC-Cuba, National Cybersecurity Week of the Mexican National Guard, Annual Meeting of Cybersecurity Officers from REUNA member Universities in Chile, and Strategic Dialogue: Cybersecurity in Government and Education RENATA Colombia, among others.
