Oswaldo de Freitas Alves is Brazilian, a Telecommunications Engineer, and holds an MBA in Project Management.

He currently serves as the Strategic Projects Manager at DEO - Engineering and Operations Directorate - of the National Research and Education Network (RNP), where he manages the team responsible for programs and projects, including the North and Northeast Connected Programs, State Infovias of the Conecta Program, and projects in collaboration with energy transmission companies and other infrastructure owners. Additionally, he has been part of the operations and engineering teams at RNP.

With extensive experience, he has specialized in Telecommunications, Negotiation, and Project Management, making significant contributions through his participation in the MWC2024, Internet2 2024, and Internet2 2019 Community Exchange conferences.
